Headed to the Museum // NYC

Ready for a NYC stroll. Headed to the Museum. The American Museum of Natural History to be exact.20130710-154526.jpg Stopped for lunch at a lovely French restaurant {Nice Matin} on the way and enjoyed a delish bowl of Ratatouille. Yum. 20130710-154714.jpg We continued our trek to the museum and were completely awestruck. Lovely massive {marble} Corinthian columns. Greeted by breathtaking murals of the worlds peoples. Memorable messages from President Theodore Roosevelt engraved in the walls of the main entry. 20130710-231303.jpg Our absolute favorite exhibit was the Allosaurus — of course. So cool! 20130710-223856.jpg This outrageous place is impressive exhibition hall after mammoth history-sprinkled exhibition hall. Phenomenal! 20130710-225425.jpg
We ended our experience there by picking up some fun AMNH museum gifts for our girls.

Cheers to History!

Snorkeling | Beach Trip

We’re there mere minutes when we spot a pair of dolphins swimming close to shore.

I lasted about 20 minutes attempting to snorkel (one of my hubby’s newfound ✌loves✌) and decided that the water wasn’t clear enough for me.

We visited the tide pools & caves.

Beach time.

Happy Summer!

Mumford & Sons to Celebrate 10 Years {Happily} Married to My Main Squeeze

To celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary I took my hubby to the Mumford & Sons concert. We had a fantastic little getaway and totally recommend seeing these phenomenal musicians. Local food trucks {Bacon MANia was my fave.}, libations, colorful decorations and the pre-show, especially the giddiness of the silly, talented, Wonderful Glorious EELS, made for an enjoyable afternoon. The show began at dusk and consisted of a fun laser and light show; it was super romantic! They sang a considerable mix of current hits and “older” songs to create a lovely ambiance and memorable show.
