Someone’s Getting a {Swallowed Tooth} Tooth Fairy Visit

Addison realized that she’d lost her tooth, another milestone, when she couldn’t find it. Literally LOST the little chomper. Fearing that she swallowed it, she began to cry.

“Mommy, the Toof Fairy won’t know I w-ahh-st-ed it — because it’s in my belly.”

I reassured her. Explaining that, like Santa, the Tooth Fairy “sees” & “knows” everything.

AKA4.5: “Will she cut open my belly.”

Me: “No. The Tooth Fairy already knows it’s in your belly and that it will come out.”

AKA4.5: “Ewww! Will she check my poop?”

“No. She really doesn’t need it now anyway. She has mountains of teeth.”

It worked! Addison’s convinced that she can leave a drawing of her tooth & a note, as a thank you, under her pillow. And that the Tooth Fairy will be… HAPPY.

All {toothless} smiles again.

FYI: I’m not going to “watch” for her tooth. According to Parents Magazine {online} it’s normal to swallow a baby tooth & not fret. It too shall pass. LOL!

Hey, what’s the going rate for teeth these days?

Please share your child’s lost tooth story.

  1. It’s definitely no $100 as an episode of Modern Family had to deal with when they mistakenly put $100 bill instead of a $10. I would think a first tooth should be about $5 dollars.

  3. Hi there! I know this is kinda off topic but I was wondering which blog platform are you using for this site?
I’m getting fed up of WordPress because I’ve had issues with hackers and I’m looking at alternatives for another platform. I would be fantastic if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.
